Mojo Monday week 98

This is my first try to do the MOJO Monday madness everyone was going crazy about. And even me, I had a blast while doing this awesome sketch. So here's what I came up,

I used Mini Monogram cricut cartridge to cut the scallop circle and the circle, then add dots around it using white gel pen. I also used D'vine swirls cuttlebug folder to emboss the brown piece of CS. The pattern paper and the ribbon that I used is from my stash of scraps, I'm not really sure what was the name of the kit where it came from, but the yellow and brown piece of CS is from American Crafts, brown mini brad from Recollection, Martini stamp from Marcella K, CTMH chocolate ink pad, and purple & green cricut markers to color the martini.

Cupcake Card

For my Monday card, I made this very cute cupcake card, cut from the "Wild Card" cricut cartridge. I enjoy making this card, it's so girly and sparkly, notice that I put some glitters on the frosting of the cupcake. I also used CTMH sunflower ink to sponge the edge of the candle to hightlight it.

Here are all the supplies that I used:

CS is from American Crafts. The Patterned Paper, stamp "Happy Birthday" and the pink glitter brad is from $1 spot at Target. Glitters from Martha Stewart. Pink paper flower is HOTP. CTMH chocolate and sunflower ink pads.

This is what I did for the inside of the card. I used Cocoa CS on the inside just for the effect that its a chocolate flavor cupcake. Then I used white gel pen to write my message.

Here's another picture of the card with the envelope, I tie a bow in front of the envelope for added design.

Challenge #1 at Paper Cutz

This is my try for the first Challenge over at Paper Cutz. It was just launched last week, and their challenge is to make a card, layout or craft project using color pink and green. Hop on over to their site and play along, they have a fabulous prize for the winner on the challenge. Click here to go directly to their site.

Back to my card, my CS and ribbon is from American Crafts, paper flowers is HOTP, the brads are from my stash. I used "D'vine Swirls" cuttlebug embossing folder to emboss the dark green piece of my CS, then Fiskars Threading Water border punch on the lime green piece of paper. The word "Thank" is cut using "Home Accent" cricut cartridge and the letter "U" is from stick-O' stickers. I finish it off by rounding the two corners of the card.

Thanks a Latte

Todays card is inspired by Mary at cardzforU.blogspot.com, she has an awesome video on how to make this fabulous card, I just have to tweak it a little bit. I used "Mini Monogram" cricut cartridge to cut the circle and the scallop circle, and "Doodle charms" for the coffee mug. Then I put some glitter on the steam and around the mug. I also added dots around my scallop circle using white gel pen.

Simply Sweet Birthday

Happy Monday! Here's my card for today, a Birthday card. I got some goodies over the past weekend, one of it is the new release "SIMPLY SWEET" cricut cartridge, and that's what I used to cut the gift box and the word "birthday", love it!!! Another great stuff that I got is the Birthday Cuttlebug folder. I love my Cuttlebug, it makes my simple card more special.

Have a nice week everyone!
Happy crafting!

Hello card

Hello everyone, Happy Friday! time for another card...My card today uses the Mini Monogram cricut cartridge to cut the scallop circle and used my 1/16 punch to make a hole around it. The doily lace punch is from Martha Stewart, the stamp "Hello" is from Michaels $1 stamp corner, and the ink is CTMH pansy purple. The papers and ribbon that I used is from my scraps, I'm trying to use the most out of it.

That's all for today, Have a great weekend!
